SELECTA Network offers 15 PhD positions (ESR=Early-Stage Researchers) over the 4-year project.
Strict criteria relating to professional experience (at the time of recruitment) and mobility apply to every position.
Criteria relating to experience:
Early-stage researchers (ESRs) are those who are, at the time of selection by the host institution, in the first four years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers. This is measured from the date when they obtained the degree which would formally entitle them to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the research training is provided, irrespective of whether or not a doctorate was envisaged.
Criteria relating to mobility:
At the time of selection by the host organization, researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host organization for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment. Short stays, such as holidays and/or compulsory national service are not taken into account. Researchers can be nationals of any country (including all countries outside Europe). Researchers must not have spent more than 12 months in the country of their host institution in the 3 years prior to selection.
